I thought it was time to take an inventory of the plants that survived the dry condition this summer in Zone 7-8. The following are a the result of a trip to the Discovery Garden in Rockwall, Texas. They have some cute painted stones and recycled items in the garden that added quite a bit of character. What a great idea to acquaint children to gardening.
I think this is Pampas Grass on top of this berm. The Garden is surrounded by roses.
