Claude Monet Garden at Giverny

Claude Monet Garden at Giverny.

Theses photographs are a compilation of  some taken at the Dallas Arboretum on June 6, 2011 and other photos taken in Giverny, France. When my daughters were toddler's I read many books to them and one of our favorites was, Linnea in Monet's Garden. When they were teenagers we decided we would not have many times to vacation together as a family as they attended college and went on to lead their own lives so we designed a jam packed itinerary to visit France and Italy. One of the last stops was Monet's Garden in Giverny. What wonderful memories.  The photographs from that trip remain filed in boxes but I found a plant that brings back the memories of that trip. See if you don't think these flowers remind you of an Impressionist Painting.
