Mother's Day Dinner Surprise

This is a journal entry so we can find the recipes again. The fondant potatoes are cut to look like large scallops.  I grow thyme, very successfully, so there is an unlimited supply of this herb in my garden. Thank you to my wonderful daughters for a special Mother's Day.

My daughter updated it based on the America's Test Kitchen slow cooker. 
It's still yummy!
