BUSH MORNING GLORY OR MOONFLOWER, Ipomoea fistulosa Mart. ex Choisy




The cypress vine or more botanically correct the Ipomoea quamoclit a species of the morning glory family. A gorgeous easy to grow plant that makes your gardening efforts much easier and more fruitful.
This morning glory family member comes from the native tropical regions of northern Mexico to northern South America.
Technically grown as an annual, the cypress vine will typically come back year after year from seeds dropped by the previous year’s plant, thereby making it more of a perennial.
The vine can reach 9 feet in length and offers up 1.5 inch trumpet-shaped flowers in red, pink, or white.
