A Cactus Garden in the Spring

__________________________________________________________________________

After making a trip into town to see the new camera shop and talk with experts about a good camera for my needs we stopped at the botanical garden. The cactus garden always calls out for more exploration. Here are a few of the photographs, (pre- new camera). I like the Canon Rebel  T7i.

I could not find a label for this beauty. It might be a flowering agave. My observation on the sheer length and shape, a dinosaur vertebrae?  These are such awesome plants especially when they flower.

The new pads were emerging on the spineless prickly pear cactus.

Texas rainbow cactus, spiny hedgehog cactus, Echinocereus dasyacanthus
