Often, I will write about a plant, just to find, for various reasons, the plant has retained a new scientific name. Generally, if a change is made it is the genus that bears the change, although the specific epithet can change, also. Now, before submitting an article it is essential to verify the most recent identification for clarity and to avoid confusion.
