Photographs by J. Hyden and K. Hyden
Pineapple guava (Feijoa sellowiana), is a moderately sized tree, growing to a height of 10 - 15 feet with an upright branching form. The tropical fruit ripens in the fall and is hardy in zones 8 - 10. The gray-green foliage is evergreen and the plant prefers full sun. This is a lovely specimen tree for large containers or the landscape.
