I have read Dee Nash's articles on Red Dirt Ramblings for some time and enjoy her suggestions for design, selecting and buying seeds, and better techniques when gardening. I just finished her book, The 20-30 Something Garden Guide, A No-fuss, Down and Dirty Gardening 101 for anyone who wants to Grow Stuff.
Well, finished might be a misnomer, I am going back to revisit exciting suggestions like her top 10 list of beautiful edibles and a list of resources specific to gardener needs and interests like Rite in the rain notebooks.
This would be a great gift for young people buying new homes who want to try healthy homegrown organic vegetables and fruits. To be a successful gardener she explains complete with photographs, start to finish; choice, layout, building raised beds, and irrigation with many other clever ideas.
