Orange symbolizes Autumn, Thanksgiving, Fire, Determination, Compassion, Endurance, and Optimism. Orange is traditionally associated with the autumn season, with the harvest and autumn leaves. The flowers, like orange fruits and vegetables and autumn leaves, get their colour from the photosynthetic pigments called carotenes.

is an abundant bloomer. One inch, tubular flowers, each painted in orange and red hues are tipped with white. Each plant creates a mass of slender branches with lance-shaped leaves. It's mature height is approximately 3 feet.
